Deniz is an international freelance filmmaker and videographer from Turkey. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths College, University of London specializing in Documentary Film Production, and a Master of Science in Digital Media from Uppsala University. Her short film “Season of Hope” premiered at the Immigration Film Fest (IFF), held in Washington DC in 2018, and was awarded Best International Short Documentary under the unifying theme, Films Across Borders: Stories of Women. Deniz currently runs her own small video production business in Sweden, creating content from concept to delivery.
